Hello, My name is Maria Josefina Power. I am originally from Rio de Janeiro/Brazil, where I graduated as an Architect and Urban planner. Since I moved to south Florida in 1984, I served as volunteer to the Ft Lauderdale beautification board, and I started to work as an interior designer and real estate investor and later in 1991 as realtor. As I have had the opportunity to live in many countries, I had the privilege to work, help and meet many people from different cultures and backgrounds, which made me a very flexible and detail oriented person who understands first hand the challenges of relocation and adaptation. My combined professional experience has driven my passion for the real estate industry in the USA and abroad. I have helped many sellers to sell and stage their properties and worked with many people from first home buyers to luxury property owners, using my skills to help them maximize their position in the market or, find the right property to meet their needs. I believe in giving back to the community and throughout my life have dedicated many hours to volunteering to the cities, communities and institutions of the places that I lived in. A small percentage of my commissions is donated to charities close to my heart.
